Protect Our Vote

From Indivisible, here are the key preparations and actions to ensure free and democratic elections:

• Overwhelming, early turnout is election protection.  PA doesn’t have “early voting” but we do have the option of mail-in ballots which is a way to vote early.

• Grassroots preparation and rapid response by everyday people to protect elections.  Watch the Keystone Indivisible and WWCDNow Newsletters for information on how to prepare.

• If lots of people take basic steps and get information, we can protect this election together.  EVERYONE do ACTION #1.   EVERYONE pick from the other actions and start NOW!

ACTION #1: EVERYONE Secure the Vote

• Check your voting status weekly.  Two methods to check:

  • Any voter can text VOTER to 59798    Repeat weekly

  • PA voters visit https://www.vote411.org and verify you are registered but not how you are voting.  Repeat weekly.

• Teach others in-person, by email or social media:

  • how to check their voting status

  • the ways people can vote (in-person, by mail, at the election office).  Did you know Centre County residents can go to the Centre County Elections Office in the Community Services Building and request a ballot, complete the ballot while there and hand it in before you leave?

• Offer to drive voters voting by absentee ballet to a drop box.  Watch Keystone Indivisible and WWCDNow Newsletters for how to get involved.
