The Empire State Information Fluency Continuum (ESIFC) is a guide to teaching Information literacy and inquiry skills for students in grades K-12.
The ESIFC provides editable graphic organizers to scaffold teaching these skills. You can view them by standard or by grade level band.

Sora
Sora is a student reading app that provides access to our school collection, our district collection, and the public library collections. Read your ebooks or listen to your audiobooks all from one place! Sora is accessible via the Sora App or on your web browser here.
You must log in with your NYCDOE credentials (@nycstudents.net account). If you do not know them, you can retrieve them and/or reset them here.
MyLibraryNYC
MyLibraryNYC provides access to hundreds of teacher sets of books (including topic sets and book club sets) and resources delivered to our school free of charge. Sign up with your DOE e-mail and password.
Our students are also eligible for fee-free MyLibraryNYC student cards!
You are eligible for an educator card through the Brooklyn Public Library. More information is available on their website here. Your educator card privileges include:
