NOTE: We are currently building our digital collection, but we are suggesting the following options for e-books and e-reading. Please feel free to contact the librarian if you have difficulty accessing them or need 1-on-1 help.
Sora is a student reading app that provides access to our school collection, our district collection, and the public library collections. Read your ebooks or listen to your audiobooks all from one place! Sora is accessible via the Sora App or on your web browser here.
You must log in with your NYCDOE credentials (@nycstudents.net account). If you do not know them, you can retrieve them and/or reset them here.

Once you login to Sora you will the the hundreds of titles that we have purchased for our school library. You can also add the Queens Public Library to your account (no card number needed) to expand your selections. If you want to add your BPL or NYPL library card number, you can do that, too, and read ALL your books in one place! Don't have a BPL card or think you lost your old one? Get a new one here.) Sora is only available for students & staff of the DOE. Parents and families are welcome to use Libby.
Are you looking for a specific book that you cannot find? Request a book here.
If you do not already have a Brooklyn Public library card you can use this link to get an e-card e-mailed to you (you do NOT need to live in the borough of Brooklyn to apply). Once you have the e-card number and your PIN number, you can start downloading resources from BPL using Sora (see above).
