In order to build our program, yes, we do need parent volunteers! Please click the link below to upload or update your clearances in our system, so that you can help us! Clearances MUST be uploaded for all individuals associated with the travel program.

NOTE: If you are volunteering for the IN-HOUSE program, you may provide paper copies of your clearances to the WBSC In-House Board. For the TRAVEL program, all (4) clearances are required in addition to a coaching license and must be uploaded into the system. 

INFORMATION FOR OBTAINING CLEARANCES

The PA Child Protective Services Law went into effect on January 1, 2015.  All background checks must be completed using the provider designated by Pennsylvania per the requirements of the law.

IN-HOUSE VOLUNTEERS/COACHES, PLEASE OBTAIN:

PA State Police Criminal History Check – FREE (for volunteers): https://epatch.pa.gov/home

PA Child Abuse History – FREE (for volunteers): https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home

You will need to “create an individual account” if you do not already have one. Then you can click on “individual login” to begin the process for this clearance.

FBI Criminal History Clearance – 

If you have been a PA resident for at least the last 10 years: Complete and notarize this Volunteer Affidavit

If you have been a PA resident for less than 10 years: FBI History Check is required ($22.95), please use Service Code = 1KG6ZJ

SAFESPORT: Please contact WBSC to obtain an access code for this clearance. We cannot post this information here, sorry!

USSF Coaching License - Only the Introduction course is required:
