Assistance with depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, etc.

Brief support for students who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges.

Substance Use Prevention and Treatment
Substance Use Prevention and Treatment
Counseling for students who need support with substance use or completion of mandated hours for on-campus drug infractions. Flex time Thursdays (can make up mandated sessions if needed after school)

Parent education workshops
Talk to your house advisor, nurse, or mental health coordinator to get connected or sign up through Enriching Students for Flextime. Open to all students.

Services for students at Samohi and Olympic High School:
Vaccines
Physicals (sports and general)*
Medical care including first aid for minor injuries
Confidential services such as birth control and pregnancy tests**
Care for ongoing conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, obesity and eating disorders
Health education for topics such as birth control methods and nutrition/exercise advice
*Sports physicals and wellness exams require parental consent.
**Sensitive services such as anything related to sexual health or pregnancy does NOT require parental consent.
When: Doctor- Tues 1:00pm-3:45pm/Thurs - 8:30am to 11:45am | Health Educator-Thurs: 8:30am-11:30 am

Make an appointment at the nurses office, or just drop in. Please call (310) 392-8636 for appointments (skip the scheduling prompt and choose prompt 4. This prompt for students will help jump the line).
