Assessment

You can decide to keep your GoogleSite open to the public or only share it with your teacher.

You will be asked to hand in a Personal Response Assignment at the end of every Unit or Section in your course. (The dates will be added to your moodle calendars).

The reflections that you add to your ePortfolios will need to be used as evidence of your learning and to support the assignments.

As such, although you will be adding weekly reflections to your personal ePortfolios, you will never be assessed on your ePortfolio reflections specifically (so that you never feel like what you are creating is right or wrong). Instead your will be assessed on your ability to personally reflect about the ePortfolio reflection examples.

The Reflection Assignments will be assessed using the Personal response rubrics that are in your course notes.

How does my ePortfolio connect to my Course?

At the end of your Section/Unit in your course, you will see a Dropbox that says, " MAJOR: ePortfolio Personal Reflection/Response - Section/Unit #"

The assignment will be a personal reflection or a personal response depending on if youa re in a -1 or -2 course, so the rubrics will be a bit different. Make sure you click on your rubric so you know you will be accessed.

The Assignment will read:

You have been asked to reflect in your ePortfolio every week about a different topic.

Now is the time to look back at your ePortfolio and choose ONE reflection that you would like to expand upon in more detail. You can choose a reflection from any week in this course that you created in this unit/ section.
