Bio:

Stephanie Farfan-Ross is in her 4th year as Head Coach for the Weehawken High School Girls' Swim Team, and her 10th year of coaching the sport of Swimming. Coach Ross graduated from St. Joseph's of Palisades High School, where she was on the swim team for four years and was selected 1st Team All County. Coach Ross earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Kean University and a Master's Degree in Education from St. Peter's University. During her time at Kean University she was an official member of the Kean University Cougars Swim Team. She was named Rookie of the Year by her coaches and swam in the NJAC Championships.

During her time coaching, her teams have seen a great steady growth in numbers. She has helped her team set school records, county records and also to reach personal swimming goals. That experience, combined with her commitment to help athletes at all levels succeed in the sport, is a great asset to both the team and the greater community of Weehawken.

Coach Ross' favorite swimming stroke is Butterfly. She grew up in Weehawken, her family currently resides in Weehawken. She is married to Daniel Ross and they have a 3 year old daughter named Rachel Grace. Coach Ross' proudest coaching moment was this summer. She taught her daughter to swim Freestyle and beginner level Butterfly techniques at the age of 3.
