Bio: Tristan Shafran currently serves as the Weehawken High School Band Director. His duties include oversight and administration of the High School Marching Band and teaching various courses including the High School Wind Ensemble, 7th and 8th grade Band, and the Jazz Band. For the last 4 years Shafran has worked with the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Marching Band and Indoor Drumline and is a graduate of Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts. Some of his previous accomplishments include competing in DCI and WGI World Class Finals as well as being a part of the Giants Drumline and performing alongside various artists including John Legend and Charlie Puth. Shafran is also on staff currently with the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps. He is excited to begin his journey with the Weehawken Band program this fall.
