Camp Esquagama Packing List
**LABEL your name on EVERYTHING YOU BRING**
Ski Gear:
1. ❏ Ski Boots
2. ❏ Classic skis
3. ❏ Skate Skis
4. ❏ Poles for both classic & skate skis
· If available, extra set of shorter poles (that come up to between elbow and mid bicep) for ski walking
5. ❏ Water belt
Ski attire (all NON-COTTON): use layering method
❏ Wickable base-layer (a polypro or similar base layer of long underwear)
❏At least 2 Long sleeve tops for layering
❏Midlayer (e.g fleece)
❏Synthetic or merino wool neck gaiter/buff.
❏Water-resistant outer pants (not snow pants).
❏At least 2 pairs of Wool, SmartWool or any off-brand cold weather performance (Merino) or polypro socks that are long enough to go cover legs above the top of ski boot
❏Synthetic skull cap or headband, or if need to stay warmer, use light to moderate weight beanie hat.
❏1-2 pairs of Ski gloves – mitten, glove, or lobster glove styles (extra pair just in case 1st set are too wet for day 2)
❏ Optional but highly recommended: 1-2 pairs of merino or synthetic ski glove liners for under lobster gloves (especially when the temperature is below 0 degree F)
Non-ski items:
1. ❏ Spending money for lunch on Monday 1/20/25 (on the way to Camp Esquagama)
2. ❏ Sleeping bag (+ blanket)
3. ❏ Pillow
4. ❏ Head lamp/flash light
5. ❏ Clean trash bag(s) for wet/dirty clothes
6. ❏ Winter jacket
7. ❏ Midlayer (fleece etc)
8. ❏ At least 2 pairs of pants
9. ❏ At least 2 sets of underwear
10. ❏ At least 2 tops to change into after skiing
11. ❏ At least 2 extra pairs of socks to change into after skiing
12. ❏ Pajamas/nightwear?
13. ❏ Snow boots
14. ❏ Indoor shoes/slippers; flip-flops for shower area
15. ❏ Trail/Running shoes (?water resistant) for jogging/bounding
16. ❏ 1 bath towel (+wash cloth)
17. ❏ Personal Water bottle
18. ❏ Tissue paper (for runny nose in the cold)
19. ❏ Toothbrush and toothpaste
20. ❏ Shampoo/conditioner and soap/bodywash
21. ❏ Sunscreen?
22. ❏ Personal toiletries: e.g. lip balm, lotion, deodorant, face wash, acne ointment, hygiene products etc
23. ❏ Bandaids
24. ❏ Medications—need to email/inform Coach Cran
25. ❏ Travel/motion sickness medication—need to let Coach know ahead of time
