DESCRIPTIONS

Formerly known as Individual Events, the Thespy program allows students to compete in various theatrical categories. The Iowa Thespian Festival provides students with the opportunity to receive constructive feedback on prepared theatrical material and technical designs.

PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES: Participants MUST ensure their chosen Thespy material is on the Pre-Approved List. You will need to search for your title on the Pre-Approved List and select it when registering for your Thespy event online.

NOTE: Students competing in the Thespys will be responsible for preparing for their events on their own and attending Waukee's Individual Event Showcase to receive feedback on their event prior to the festival.
