A Staged Reading is a reading of a theatrical script by actors with minimal technical elements. The purpose of the Staged Reading Series is to provide exposure to new and classical theatrical works that may not fit within the traditional Waukee Theatre Arts season.

For this season's Staged Reading, Waukee Thespians is partner with ENOUGH! Plays - A series of plays to end gun violence.
The Staged Reading Series is a program for students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 at either PV or WHS. No previous theatre experience is necessary! AND no memorization!
Time commitment is minimal. Rehearsals will take place sporadically during the weeks prior to the performance, about 2-3 rehearsals.
We are looking for Actors and there is no experience needed! Any 9th-12th grade student at Waukee High School or Prairieview is welcome to register! Below there is also a casting breakdown, please review it before registering.

ADMISSION: Free-Will CASH Donations at our donation box on performance night (suggested $3).
