What is the Spring Surprise?
The spring surprise is a short play that will take place in the spring. Some past events like this were the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, Murder In Bloom, The Complete History of Theatre (abridged). The Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, titled You Have The Right to Remain Dead, is a student theatre show took place in the fall of 2022, while the audience was eating a three course meal! Murder In Bloom was an outdoor, picnic theatre event. Preformed at the Waukee Triangle in the Spring of 2024. The Complete History of Theatre (abridged) was performed at the Northwest High School Black Box Theatre.
The 2025-2026 Spring Surprise will be announced in the Spring of 2026!

The Spring Surprise is open to students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 at Waukee High School and Prairieview. No previous theatre experience is necessary!

LOCATION: Waukee High School Auditorium
ADMISSION: Free-Will CASH Donations at our donation box on performance night (suggested $3).
