Waste is unwanted materials. When we throw things away, this is waste disposal.  

The six Rs are reduce, rethink, refuse, reuse, repair and recycle.

A resource is anything that humans find useful to meet their needs and make a living most of the resources we use come from the environment. 

Resources can be natural or man-made natural resources include water, air, land, climate reverse, soil minerals plants and animals human made resources include roads bridges, buildings and machineries.

Water is important for life we can divide water resources into freshwater resources and seawater resources.

Freshwater comes from rain, rivers lakes, springs and underground sources.

Water is used to generate hydroelectricity for immigration industry transport recreation fishing and domestic use.

Pollution is any unwanted substance in our environment and the substances are called pollutants toxic waste is very poisonous or harmful.

Water pollution comes mainly from Agricultural and Industrial chemicals also sewage and garbage and ships in port or at sea.

Farmers use of chemical fertilizers pesticides and herbicides can pollute water and poor farming practices can cause soil erosion pollution of rivers and seas.

Waste from Mining and Manufacturing pollute, or seas and rivers.

Water pollution affects marine and aquatic plants and animals.

Water pollution can affect human activities and human health.

There are many ways we can reduce water pollution and save water at home, at school, and in our community.
