How water pollution affects living things?

Water pollution affects plants and animals both marine sea creatures and aquatic freshwater creatures and even animals that come to river to drink and also be poisoned by polluted water. 

Water pollution causes

• damage to habitats - mixture of chemicals and trash, which originates on land is washed or blown into the ocean. This pollution harms the marine environment, and the health of all marine organisms.

• harm to marine animals - Plastic pollution is a major problem in the water especially in our seas as plastics are discarded every day. Garbage which has not been properly disposed of do not rot, so it poses damage to the marine. 

• water pollution can also affect human health - If farmers irrigate their crops with polluted water or overused chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides, the toxins may be absorbed by the plants, and buildup in people who eat them. This buildup can then cause long-term health illnesses or damage.
