*Common Palm Civet is one of the protected animals found from India and Sri Lanka to the whole of southern China and the mainland of Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo, Sulawesi and the Philippines. Hunting requires a hunting license. Common Palm Civet can be found in secondary forests, fruit farms, near villages, and sometimes even on the roofs of houses in remote areas. Usually, they nest in tree holes where they keep two or three young. This species is active at night completely. Characteristics of Common Palm Civet is a warm-blooded animal, gives birth, cares for children, and has hair on the body. The heart of Common Palm Civet consists of four human-like chambers. The upper chamber is known as the atrium, while the lower chamber is known as the ventricle. The glutinous fox has coarse gray to brownish fur with thick black fur at the ends everywhere. It also has a strong odor that pokes the nose.
