Rose-Ringed Parakeet

Distribution : Central Africa to Uganda, southern Asia, India and Sri Lanka.

Habitat : Woodland, parks, gardens, where feeds mainly in trees.

Diet : Buds, fruits, vegetables, nuts, berries, and seeds.

Life & Habit : Is a foolhardy and opportunistic bird. It has been introduced as cage-bird, but this species is able to adapt very well. It lives in more or less large groups in most of the big cities.

Life span : 25-30 years
