*Tanimbar corella (Cacatua goffiniana), also known as Goffin parrot, is an endemic parrot species of the Yamdena, Larat and Selaru forests, all islands in the Tanimbar Islands of Indonesia. It has been introduced to the Kai Islands, Indonesia, Puerto Rico and Singapore. The species was only officially described in 2004, after it was found that previous official descriptions related to individuals of different parrot species, Ducorps or Solomons (Cacatua ducorpsii) .Corellas cockatoos are the smallest of the white cockatoos. It is classified as Near Threat due to deforestation and the bird trade. It breeds well in captivity and there is a large avicultural population.
