Global Group Project

For the Global Technology Project, I chose to research Tigray. The reason why I chose this region is that this is where my parents immigrated from and where my heritage and family history are. while my partner focused on Ghana. We looked at how each place uses and accesses technology, including internet access and the digital divide. We each made our own Word doc and PowerPoint comparing Tigray and Ghana.

 One interesting fact I learned about Ghana has a tropical climate for most of the year, while Tigray's climate is dry and hot weather throughout the year.

From this project, I learned a lot about how different places around the world use technology, when comparing Tigray and Ghana. It also helped me put all the skills I've learned this past semester, such as PowerPoint, Word, researching and citing sources in MLA format, and working with others. My partner and I stayed connected through Instagram and met up at the school library to get the work done. Working together like that showed me how important communication and planning really are. Overall, this project helped me improve both my research skills and my teamwork.
