A digital footprint is the trail of information you leave behind when you use the internet, such as social media posts, search. It’s important because it can affect your privacy, reputation, and future opportunities.

I didn't think this was true till I searched up the name and found old Instagram/Facebook pages, all the previous colleges I've gone to and played for same goes for high school.
