The Long Awaited Commemorative Commissioning Ceremony for the USS VERMONT SSN 792, August 28, 2021

The above photo illustration shows the Vermont Air National Guard's F-35A Lightning IIs from the 158th Fighter Wing flying over the USS VERMONT SSN 792 at the August 28th Commemorative Commissioning ceremony.  With the VERMONT's sailors maintaining the tradition of manning the rails, XO Joshua Ludwig read Governor Phil Scott's remarks declaring his steadfast support of our namesake submarine, and the pride Vermonter's feel with the nation's most sophisticated military platforms in the air and under the sea bearing our names.
