At the Change of Command Ceremony on April 17th of 2025, FRG Sunshine Chair Kristen Newman and VSG's Gary Frymire presented the traditional Sunshine Bags given to each new USS VERMONT crew member to Commander Matt Lewis and wife Meghan. Note the Vermont Teddy Bear "Champy" that was well received by the CO's children.
Those fun loving FRG ladies held a Pancakes with Santa event in December of 2024. They're making a spirited toast with Maple Syrup Nips from Butternut Mountain Farm here in Vermont.
