The Factory only offered a front sump oil pan for the 6 cylinders. Not a great pan. No baffling, and very deep. Most annoying part is probably the drain plug that sticks a full inch below the bottom of the pan. It is begging to cause ground clearance issues.

While GM never offered a rear sump pan on the 6 cylinder, they did on the 4 and 5 cylinders. Originally I wanted to take two pans and cut them in two different places and weld them together. I could not get enough bolts to line up, so I decided to cut one in half and use chunks out of the 6 cylinder pan, and some plate to fill the gaps.
