In this unit, I learned about the various types of ways you can present information as well as the ways you can manage files on your computer. We also learned about information hierarchies and tested our knowledge by creating mind maps.
Although I knew how to use PowerPoint and Word, I never realized that there was much more I could do on them, such as adding notes to a PowerPoint slide and adding table of contents to a Word document. Even though I knew they existed, I had never used them personally and never knew how much more effective PowerPoints and Word documents could be with them. I also had never used Excel in my life, so everything I learnt about it was new to me.
