=Pedagogic Material=

Desde 2013, mais de 30 palestras e aulas práticas na Universidade de Cabo Verde (Uni-CV cidade do Mindelo, S. Vicente) para capacitação de estudantes de biologia em (1) manuseamento de aves selvagens e recolha de biometrias (para estudos de demografia e sobrevivência de populações), (2) técnicas de amostragem biológica (avaliação de ecologia trófica e saúde ao nível do indivíduo), (3) colocação, recolha e processamento da informação de dispositivos de seguimento individual (e.g. dispositivos GPS). Esta componente teórica foi muitas vezes acompanhada de períodos práticos no terreno. Além de participantes da componente académica, também técnicos da Direcção Nacional do Ambiente de Cabo Verde (técnicos superiores e vigilantes da natureza), polícia marítima e técnicos de Organizações Não Governamentais receberam formação nestes workshops.

A produção de material pedagógico e seu uso nos cursos teórico-práticos anteriormente descritos tem aumentado em anos mais recentes (desde 2017) através de acções no âmbito do projecto ALCYON. No âmbito deste projecto, também os professores universitários da Uni-CV têm recebido formação (formação de formadores) e apoio na produção de materiais didáticos para inclusão nas suas componentes lectivas, nomeadamente nas disciplinas de “Ecologia Marinha” e “Gestão e Conservação da Biodiversidade”.
