Immediate access off of Route 9. A great section of easy rolling rapids followed by smooth flat water. Pristine location with super easy access. Low vegetation along banks makes for a good beginner location.
Wonderful spot in May, but very restricted otherwise to maintain the viability of all river fish. Much farther upstream above the dam there are endless miles. Come early and claim your prize.
Pretty easy access but fairly deep for wading. High vegetation along banks. Several other access points along entrance road.
A simple creek probably overlooked when driving by is quite picturesque. Downstream of the waterfall until the bridge offers a tiny stream with plenty of character. Must get there before summer heat.
Over flow from Gardner lake is a great attraction. Often find yourself competing with Osprey around mid-summer. Trail access is behind outhouse parking lot across from Garner lake. Very rocky bottom but shallow with deep sections. Best early summer before lake levels drop off and temperatures rise.
A hand carry boat launch brings you to the river. Work up and down river as far as you want.
