New Slides for Level 2/3

The level 2/3 slides are very similar to the old Interactive 2 Mock. Those resources are at the bottom of this page.

You will prepare both A & B and then when you show up for your Certification the Interviewer will choose which one you teach. You will teach for 10 minutes.

Tips for Interactive Lessons:

Go into the practice room once you book your Mock class and practice using the interactive functions. The video walk-throughs show you what they look like and when/how to use them. You can find them below. (erase, clear screen, stop student’s mouse function, go to reward slide and back to the slide you were on, next slide, play music/sound, drag and drop, drag and disappear, etc.)
Practice will help with pacing, and you will build confidence and have a flow to class! Be sure to spend a good amount of time in the practice room using the interactive features.
If you hover over the top left of the powerpoint you will see “tips” and there is a drop down of teacher directions for that specific slide. Be sure to use these because they have the objectives written and information on how to instruct and teach each slide. If you are forgetting any sentence objectives such as “This is her/his ball.” write them on a sticky note and put it on your computer screen to look at while you are teaching.
Reward System: You want to use the interactive one on the powerpoint and/or your own supplemental reward that you show to the camera. If you choose to use one or the other that is fine. If you do both make sure you can manage the pacing.

IPAED: Introduce, Practice, Apply, Extension & Demonstration (There is no Demonstration in these lessons, but it means that the student is proficient in the objective). I explain these in My Friends and I- My Toys Option A below!
