Smarter Social Mod + Traits

This is a mod with altering game tunings and extra traits to better control Sims 4 Social Autonomy.

  • Sims now have unique social autonomy according to relationship levels, Game Traits, and my 100 Traits.

  • Cheats to change relationships and know traits immediately.

  • Extra reward traits to control relationship changes, added through my Social Settings menu or Reward Store.

  • This overrides how Friendly, Mean, Mischief, and Funny Autonomy works completely!

Friendly Autonomy

Stone-Hearted, Asocial, Hostile Sims won't ever be automatically friendly unless you made them already in a pleasant conversation

All Sims are NOT friendly when Being Angry, in Offensive or Abhorrent Conversation (they can still be friendly to redeem themselves when it's only unpleasant)

Couples who are NOT Abusive, with at least -25 friendship, can be auto friendly with their partners

Sims who are Shy only talk to strangers when they are in a confident mood.

Other Sims won't start auto-friendly to strangers (-5 to -25 rel) if they are feeling embarrassed.

Sims won't start auto friendly to a Casual Friend (26 to 34 rel) when they are in bad moods (Sad, Stressed)

Downer and Creepy Sims won't start auto friendly to a Normal Friend (35 to 59 rel)

Downer and Avoidant Sims won't start auto friendly to a Good Friend (60 to 85 rel)

Sims other than Abusive or Fickle can be auto-friendly to a Closest friend (86 to 100 rel) when in good mood.

Friendly and Extrovert Sims can always start friendly talk with Sims with negative relationships to save the broken friendships.

Outgoing and Sociable Sims can always start friendly talk without restrictions.

Mean Autonomy

Sims who are NOT Kind, Good, Tender, Proper can always be mean when in Unpleasant Conversation unless they are super happy or energized.

Sims who are NOT Kind, Good, Tender can always be mean when in Offensive Conversation.

All Sims except Kind can always be mean when already in Abhorrent Conversation.

Sims can now lash out to closest ones when being Sad. (Except Soft Sims don't do that to their Romance; Family-Oriented, Nurturing Sims don't do that to family. Kind Sims are also restricted from this.)

Sims can now lash out to friends when being Stressed (Except Relaxed, Gentle, and Charismatic Sims)

Cuz we sometimes hurt those who love us, right?

Sims who are NOT Kind, Good, Soft, Nostalgic can always be mean to a bad past romance.

When Being Angry, Sims who are NOT Tender, Gentle can be mean to friendship under 75.

When Being Angry, Sims who are NOT Tender can be mean to romance under 85.

With Terrible relationships (friendship -100 to -56), ALL Sims except Good and Kind can be mean.

With Bad relationships (friendship -55 to -25), ALL Sims except Good, Kind, and Friendly can be mean.

With Unsatisfactory relationships (friendship -55 to -25), Impulsive Sims can be mean.

Repressed Sims can always be mean to romantic interests (romance 5 to 64)

Abusive Sims can always be mean to their family members and partners.

Evil Sims can always be mean when being Happy or Fine.

Mischievous Sims can always be mean when being Playful.

Downer Sims can always be mean when being Sad.

Short-Tempered Sims can always be mean when being Tensed.

Envious, Salty Sims can always be mean when being Embarrassed.

Cold-blooded, Stonehearted Sims can always be mean when being Focused.

Self-Absorbed, Smug Sims can always be mean when being Confident.

Paranoid Sims can always be mean when being Scared.

Unappeasable, Thrill-Seeking Sims can always be mean when being Bored.

Crazy Sims can always be mean when being Flirty.

Erratic Sims always be mean when being Energized.

Hostile and Mean Sims, of course, can always be mean.


Mischief Autonomy

Disallow Mood: Fine, Happy, Focused, Inspired, Stressed, Sad, Embarrassed, Angry, and Flirty.

Disallow situation: Being in Casual, Friendly, Love, Arguing, Boring, and Awkward conversations

No more stupid unwanted mischief intruding on every conversation.

Sims with Serious Trait NEVER do auto mischief.

Mean Sims can also do auto mischief when being Angry and also with a Mischief Skill 7.

With Mischief Skill 8 or above, Sims can do auto mischief to friends (35 to 75) when being playful or already in Hilarious conversation.

With Mischief Skill 10, Sims can always do auto mischief.

Childish Sims can always do auto mischief when being Playful.

Creepy Sims can always do auto mischief when being Energized or Flirty.

Evil Sims can always do auto mischief when being Confident or Happy.

Teasing Sims can do auto mischief to Sims with romantic interests (romance 15 to 70).

Mischievous Sims can do auto mischief to Sims with 10 or above Friendship.

Erratic Sims can always do auto mischief randomly.

Funny Autonomy

Disallow Mood: Embarrassed, Angry, Sad, Tensed

Disallow situation: Being in Arguing, Amorous, Boring, Awkward conversations

Always Allowed situation: Being in Friendly, Fun conversations

Sims with Boring or Serious Traits NEVER tell jokes.

With Comedy Skill 3 or above and being Playful, Sims can start a conversation with a joke to Good friends (above 65).

With Comedy Skill 4 or above and being Playful, Sims can start a conversation with a joke to normal friends (35 to 64).

With Comedy Skill 5 or above and being Playful, Sims can start a conversation with a joke to casual friends (15 to 34).

With Comedy Skill 7 or above and being Playful, Sims be funny to strangers (-25 to 14).

Social Settings

  • Cheats to Add/ Remove Relationship Bits

  • Clear All Romantic Relationships

  • Clear All Family Relationships (including base games', those from parenthood pack and new ones added by simsmodelsimmer's Set Family Relationships)

  • Instant Friend, Instant Enemy, Instant Romance to immediately change the relationship values.

  • Know All Traits

  • Know Some Traits (4 random ones)

  • Friendly Ask to Stay

Extra Social Control Reward Traits

Extra Social Control Traits to be added through Social Settings menu or Reward Store.

Reward store add-on requires an XML injector for it to work.

  • Interact More With Toddlers

  • Interact More With Children

  • Interact More With Teens

  • Interact More With Young Adult

  • Interact More With Adults

  • Interact More With Elders

Faster or Slower Relationship Changes:

  • Faster Friendship Gain (x1.8)

  • Faster Friendship Loss (x1.8)

  • Faster Romance Gain (x1.8)

Lock Relationship Decay:

Before you download...

  1. Make sure you have agreed to my Terms of Use for any copyright inquiry.

  2. Check Mod Status to see if the mod is up-to-date for the current game patch.

  3. View FAQ when you are using my mods for the first time or if you have any other questions regarding my mods.

  4. Follow the download instructions below to install a mod properly.

Download Instructions

  • Extract the downloaded zip and PUT Package + Script together only ONE folder deep OR directly into your Mod Folder. Do NOT keep the zip in your Mod folder!

  • Reward store requires an XML injector for it to work. If you don't have the injector, the Extra Social Control traits simply won't show up in the reward store. You can still add them to Sims through Social Control Menu.

Can I install/remove ONLY the Relationship Settings/any of the Autonomy files?

  • Yes, you can. I separated them for this exact purpose. You can install either one or all of them.
