Life Satisfaction
This mod measures a Sim's well-being and gives satisfaction points, buffs, & effects on Fun or Energy Needs based on previous mood experiences. Staying in a positive mood increases your Sim’s Life Satisfaction. Oppositely, being in a negative mood decreases Life Satisfaction.
** Base-Game Compatible** Compatible with my other mods** No editing of any game tunings. Compatible with other creators' emotions mods e.g. Lumpinou's custom mood pack, roBurky's Meaningful Stories, etc.** This mod tracks both EA's moods and Lumpinou's custom moods.
Five Levels of Life Satisfaction
A higher level of Life Satisfaction makes Sims more cheerful and assured. It boosts positive emotions and helps negative moods go away faster. It occasionally gives Confident, Happy, or Inspired Moodlets with extra satisfaction points!
On the contrary, a lower level of Life Satisfaction makes Sims more gloomy and cynical. They have less positive feelings and tend to stay longer in negative moods. It makes it hard to gain Fun or Energy Needs. It occasionally gives Bored, Sad, or Tense Moodlets.

Effects Based on Past Mood Experiences
Very Low Life Satisfaction
What a miserable existence! Sims with a very low level of Life Satisfaction occasionally get extra +3~ +4 Bored, Sad, or Tense moodlets. They are full of negativity and find it hard to gain Fun and Energy Needs. (x 0.7)
Low Life Satisfaction
Sims with a low level of Life Satisfaction occasionally get extra +1~ +2 Bored, Sad, or Tense moodlets. They tend to see things negatively and find it hard to gain Fun Need. (x 0.8)
Moderate Life Satisfaction
This is the initial level for all Sims when the mod is first installed. Staying in a positive mood gradually increases your Sim’s Life Satisfaction to higher levels. Oppositely, being in a negative mood gradually decreases Life Satisfaction to lower levels.
50 satisfaction points & 5 influence points when leveling up from Low Life Satisfaction to Moderate Life Satisfaction
High Life Satisfaction
Sims with a high level of Life Satisfaction occasionally get extra +1~ +2 Confident, Happy, or Inspired moodlets. They tend to stay positive and find it easy to gain Fun Need.
100 satisfaction points & 10 influence points when leveling up from Moderate Life Satisfaction to High Life Satisfaction
random chances to occasionally receive extra 50 small amounts of satisfaction points
Very High Life Satisfaction
Sims with a very high level of Life Satisfaction occasionally get extra +3~ +4 Confident, Happy, or Inspired moodlets. They are full of positivity and Energy, and find it easy to gain Fun Need.
150 satisfaction points & 15 influence points when leveling up from High Life Satisfaction to Very High Life Satisfaction
random chances to occasionally receive extra 50 small amounts of satisfaction points
Cheats to Set Life Satisfaction Levels
Click on any Sims ---> Action ---> Cheat Life Satisfaction Levels
None of the game resources are edited.
This means there should be no conflicting mod.

Download Instructions
Extract the downloaded zip and put Package + Script together only ONE folder deep OR directly in your Mod Folder. Do NOT keep the zip in your Mod folder!
Addons are optional. Choose between flavors of !chingyu_addon_LifeSatisfaction_Points. Choose between flavors of !chingyu_addon_LifeSatisfaction_Progression.
When you use any Addon, put them with the main modules in the same folder!!!
