This Lab is devoted to Maharshi Kanad (also known as Acharya Kanada), an ancient Bharatiya maharishi (sage), natural scientist, and philosopher.  Maharshi Kanad first propounded the Atomic Theory nearly 2600 years ago (between the 6-4th centuries BCE) and has been honoured as "The Father of Atomic Theory" since then. 

This  Lab conducts Quantum Computing (QC) research. Research in the Maharshi Kanad QC Lab covers Quantum Computer Architecture, including Quantum Circuits, Quantum Logic Gates, and Quantum Algorithms. 

Additional investigations include Quantum Cryptography, Quantum Machine Learning, etc.
