This Lab is set up for conducting research in Artificial Intelligence Technology (AIT). The Lab is dedicated to Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, the nineteenth century's great Bengali educator and social reformer. He was a god-gifted, knowledgeable, and brilliant person. In childhood, he accurately predicted or self-educated the English numbers 11 to 100 at the first attempt by learning the 10 English figures (1 to 10) engraved on the roadside milestones.
