Vibration and Infrastructure Monitoring Laboratory (VibLAB) @ UOS aims to advance the field of serviceability assessment and structural condition evaluation through cutting-edge research in the areas of big data analysis, machine learning, and vibration analysis. We are dedicated to developing technologies and frameworks that can tackle real-world challenges and have a meaningful impact on society.

[Feb, 2023] VibLAB has been awarded a four-year grant from the National Research Foundation of Korea (USD 400,000) to develop an early warning method for identifying hazardous vibrations in cable-supported bridges using multimodal deep learning techniques.

[May, 2021] VibLAB recieved a one-year startup fund from the University of Seoul. This startup fund will be used for setting up the lab.
[Mar, 2021] VibLAB received a two-year grant from the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Korea. The grant will provide fund for supporting the development of data-driven structural health monitoring framework using machine learning and big-data approaches.
