(The shadow of a palm tree is like the relationship with a Maravan) The shadow of a palm tree is very thin and therefore it is not reliable and preferred by anyone. Similarly, Maravans are not reliable or trust worthy to have any kind of relationship with them. This proverb is uttered by the people belonging to Non- Maravan communities.

Pallan are proud to say that they are from Veera Nadu and therefore they claim that we are equivalent to Maravan domiciledin Kondian Kottai.
