Growing up, Lydia received no sheltering from the world. She was born to a single mother who worked as a prostitute. Often moving around from place to place, Lydia had no time to really develop her social skills or attachments to anyone in particular. She did the best she could in school and didn’t excel but she wasn’t too terrible with her academics either. After leaving home, she ended up turning to prostitution and stripping as a means of making money because it was the only way she really knew how. She was one of her club’s best dancers and managed to bring in enough money to cover the bills. As time went on, she began exploring her sexuality more. She realized she was bisexual and developed a premature fascination with sex from the very beginning which would end up evolving into hypersexual disorder and nymphomania. She began investigating the darker and less than savory sides to her attractions and found herself enjoying snuff films and red room streams to get herself off.

Around that time, she attempted to join the Noir. It was early on in the business’ development where Adam was really only working with one or two people. He went to meet her personally after tracking her activity for several days through his associates and his first interaction happened to be seeing her at work in the club she was using as a day job at the time. The two almost immediately clicked and Adam had her join to be used as bait for their kills after a bit of training. Lydia’s become a master of deception and secretly hangs off of his shoulder, helping him carry out orders and acting as a spy for him when she’s under his command.

When she’s not at work as his personal assistant, Lydia is out and about doing her routine shopping, hanging out with her friend’s at Will’s bar, and satiating her unconquerable lust for all things that could provide an even remote sense of pleasure and satisfaction for her. Lydia tends to be on her own most of the time. She’s self-sufficient and though her sexuality tends to get in the way of things sometimes, she’s not actually as sadistic and sly off the job as she is on it. She tends to be brutally honest, rational, and actually rather intelligent and supportive of her friends and their goals, but if it came down to either her or them, she would sell them out in a heartbeat.

Lydia is infamously known for her uncontrollable sexual addictions. She’s a bit self-centered, very perverted, enjoys putting others through painful situations for her own gain- she doesn’t seem to have a single good bone in her body. However, when she’s not being led around by her uncontrollable sex drive, Lydia actually proves herself to be somewhat enjoyable company. She’s quite the outgoing and sociable type, finding it easy to make conversation with just about anyone. She enjoys traveling every now and then when she can foot the bill for the expenses, she enjoys shopping, and she finds good fun in messing with her friends now and then. She works odd jobs as a stripper and as a waitress on most weekdays, something that helps keep her afloat between the jobs Adam sends her out on. She professionally hustles people who browse the Deep Web looking for a thrill, luring them to meet her in quietly disclosed places to have a good time and right into the hands of Adam and his ensemble. She’s known to be cunning, seductive, and overwhelmingly manipulative, and these attributes have made her one of Adam’s most effective weapons. Her feigned “class” and sex appeal have gotten her out of many a sticky situation before, which usually involves quietly buzzing Adam with an emergency button she has on her and stalling long enough for backup to arrive. Though she doesn’t always need Adam to bail her out of a bad situation.

Despite being an employee and follower of Adam, Lydia has had ties to the Breather in the past. This has led to her being introduced to his rivals of the Red Room team. Though Joe doesn’t particularly like her, and neither does Mike, she’s often tormented with the notion that she has feelings for the Executioner or Breather— the latter of which has become more prevalent on account of Mike having his arm twisted to work for Adam on the side. Such claims aggravate her immensely but she hardly responds to them, knowing it’ll only give her tormentors more ammunition. She’s typically known for doing more business with Adam rather than getting herself mixed up with the Breather, the Kidnapper, or the Executioner anyway. She helps him and his ensemble manage money and lure victims to their games to be butchered, such was Charles.Though she’s very focused on work, Lydia loves visiting Will’s bar on breaks and sharing drinks with Clint, Amalea, Larry, and Will. She even does a bit of karaoke now and then.

• Lydia mostly cares about fulfilling her own desires, sexual or otherwise.

• Lydia only has a select few people she sincerely cares about, and she would do anything for them and her employer.

• Lydia enjoys acting as bait to lure people to their doom.

• Lydia’s job for Adam is a Baiter. Well placed pun of being the master at it aside, the job is deceptively simple and exactly what it sounds like. Lydia is attractive charming, and has learned (from the Noir specifically) how to manipulate people. Whether that means using money, her assets, or other means, she’s damn good at being a vindictive piece of work. She approaches targets that her employer picks for her, seduces them, and lures them to remote locations to be dealt with by the muscle of the ensemble. Sometimes it’s part of Adam’s games. Sometimes it’s competition. Sometimes it’s whistleblowers. In any case, she makes bank doing it.

• There are rumors that Lydia is a sugar baby with at least a dozen sugar daddies. This isn’t true. She’s employed through Adam and all the money she makes she earns herself.

• That being said, for someone who barely finished high school, Lydia is fairly smart with her cash. Most of it is stored safely in a savings account. She lives in one of the fancier little apartments in Adam’s building that she’s only done minor renovations too. She budgets for food and cooks for herself as opposed to eating takeout, she account-shares with the others for services like Netflix, Hulu, and Plex, and the most she spends is usually on makeup, jewelry, soaps, and outfits (all of which she buys secondhand at a huge discount and refurbishes herself— not that anyone else would be able to tell with her handiwork.) The most expensive thing she owns is her car: a Jaguar F-Type.

• In spite of her predisposition, Lydia is actually a relatively good friend. She’s supportive, attentive, and offers great advice to those closest to her. She’s shameless and confident and encourages the people around her to be the same. Even when one thinks she’s not paying attention, they’ll find themselves pleasantly surprised at how good her memory is when they unwrap a gift relating to that one obscure thing they mentioned in passing six months ago.

• (Tw Trauma Mention) Lydia has some unresolved trauma as a result of her upbringing. She doesn’t really acknowledge that she shouldn’t have been exposed to a lot of the things she was exposed to as a kid, nor does she understand that it affected her. To her, it was all just stuff that happened. It didn’t seem inappropriate or strange to her then and it doesn’t looking back on it now either.

• Lydia adores babies! Baby fever is a chronic thing with her. Every time she sees babies she absolutely loses it. She always wants to hold them and feed them and sing them to sleep and take care of them. She has an incredibly strong sense of maternal instinct and she would love to have some babies of her own! The problem is, she’d want to raise them with someone else and commitment is an issue in her life.

• Piggybacking off of that last idea, Lydia finds committing to a partner (or partners) difficult. Though she has those typical girlish fantasies where she daydreams about living the perfect life with the The One™, in reality, she struggles to offer actual intimacy (something brought about by her trauma). Her lack of attachedness with most people causes her relationships to be shallow and makes the idea of committing someone she feels no real passion for scary; as a result her relationships tend to either be one night stands or friends with benefits, and those friends come and go quite often.

• Lydia and Joe (The Executioner) actually go back more than anyone. They went to school together. They knew each other pretty well and were actually really close prior to Joe dropping out. After that, they kind of fell out of touch. They ended up meeting again though Mike and they’ve been steadily working on reconnecting ever since.

• (Tw Drug Mention) Lydia did cocaine once. She snuck into a college party with a guy she was dating at the time. Needless to say she will never be trying it again.

• Despite her work history and her infamous title as not just a nympho, but The Nympho, Lydia’s mind is not entirely consumed by her sex drive. There was a time where it caused her so much distress she had issues with the thought that she might be dangerous to people around her that she cared about. She ended up going to therapy to try and curb that idea and help herself. These days, she tries to regulate it with mood stabilizers and cognitive behavioral therapy (namely acceptance and commitment therapy). It’s proven relatively effective for the most part. She does have days where she gives in and “treats herself” though.
