DANDELION THE PAOLUMU

Dandelion was the first monstie Alfie ever hatched by herself.  Strong, stubborn, and somewhat lazy, this paolumu took a long time to train. Alfie never gave up on him though, and while he still has a long way to go in terms of discipline, Dandelion is, unquestionably, a very faithful and devoted companion in Alfie's party.

HOPE THE LAGOMBI

While tracking a group of poachers, Alfie came across a sick baby Lagombi whose mother had been killed and who had been kept in a cage for days without food or water, waiting to be transported somewhere else. Alfie freed her from the poacher's camp and helped the sick monster until he was healthy enough to fend for himself. Come time for release however, Hope refused to leave Alfie's side. They've been together ever since.

KUBZY THE ARZUROS

Kubzy is the goofy, playful companion of Alfie's party. Always finding new ways to get into trouble, Alfie blames it on the fact that he hatched a bit later than most Arzuros do. While he can be rowdy and wild at times, he's a big softie when it comes to his family. And even his craziest moments aren't anything a handful of honey can't stop.

MASHA THE PALAMUTE

A very faithful and familiar companion to Alfinnea, Masha was her father's Palamute. She is a brave, intelligent, loyal, and experienced companion, helping Alfie navigate the world and keeping her out of danger, no matter how far from home she may be. Rarely does she leave her companion's side, having taken an oath by Alfie's father to always keep her safe. She is a vigilant guard, a fearless hunter, and a devoted protector. Anything that does not run from her when she shows her teeth will quake at the sharp end of her sword. 

MIDNA THE NARGACUGA

Arguably the most intimidating of the bunch, Midna was tamed as an adolescent. She was badly hurt by monster hunters and left to die. Alfie found her starving in a trap. After freeing the monster, she took off before Alfie could care for her. But she did not go far. It took a lot of time, patience, and food, but eventually, Midna allowed Alfie to tend to her wounds and felp her relearn how to survive. Not that she needed it in the end. The Nargacuga, though more distant and reserved than the others, has remained a faithful and protective companion to Alfie.

NAVIROU

ROSEWING THE RATHIAN

Alfie's first monstie, Rose was rejected by her mother when she was still an egg. Alfie found her shortly before she hatched and brought her back to her village as an offering. Seeing as she was the one who found her, Alfie was allowed to hatch the monstie. She was incredibly frail and small when she was born, but with a lot of love and care from her companion, Rosewing has grown into a strong and proud Rathian, and she is very protective of her rider.
