Candice was born on June 19, 1983 to Joseph Black and Marina Little-Black. She was the middle child between older brother Carmine and younger sister Clementine. She lived in Orleans, Vermont on a farm with her family and often took care of the animals. Animals sparked her interest in biology and science early on. She was a relatively good student academically and socially, excelling in most classes with the exception of gym. She was about fifteen to twenty pounds overweight according to her pediatrician and gym teacher, and though her parents and brother were proud of her, the former always insisted that she could do better. Her brother Carmine coached her in running to help with her struggling image issues and made her the fastest kid in her class, then the second fastest in the whole school. To her, it was never enough though. During her early school years, she met a girl named Kayla White. The two of them were the most spiteful rivals anyone had ever seen but after a year of petty acts and endless competition, the two put their differences aside to help each other win in a tournament where they represented their school on a state level. Returning as friends, the two opted to join the football team. Unfortunately, both were turned down on the basis that it was a “male sport”. And so began Candice’s little rebellious streak. Aided by her sister, the two impersonated male transfer students. Kayla was kicked off during tryouts but pushed Candice to continue forward. Eventually, she became one of the best players on the team with her speed and cold determination. Their secret remained well-kept until the final game of the season when the boys found out about Candice’s ploy. Kayla pep-talked her so she wouldn’t back out. Though she ended up winning the game the victory was bittersweet and short lived as sheI was kicked off afterwards and rendered unable to participate in any celebrations.
During her third year of high school, Candice studied to become a forensic analyst. The job was paying well and she had the stomach. College applications and study plans suddenly fell through however, as her family fell on hard times. Her mother received a cancer diagnosis and in the months that followed, they had to file for bankruptcy of their farming business and move. She said her goodbyes to her friends and relocated to California, seeking an experimental treatment for help. It turned out to be useless. She was just fortunate enough to be there to say goodbye to her mother one last time. Following her death, Candice headed into a downward spiral. She lost motivation and her grades took a toll. She felt so isolated and alone, and turned to art as an outlet for what she couldn’t express in words. She graduated with good grades all the same but with her mother’s death still weighing on her and the need to get a job becoming desperate, the achievement didn’t feel as good as it should have.
Her father’s behavior also changed. He grew frustrated with work and often lashed out at Candice and sister when Carmine wasn’t home. He punched the walls, destroyed property, and though it was scary, he never actually harmed them. Eventually that wasn’t enough for him though. He started hitting Clementine without anyone before coming at her one day while she was returning from an interview. She became the more feasible target to him over time. The abuse did not last long however, as Carmine quickly caught on to the situation via Clementine. Clementine was punished severely when her father found out. He began intervening in his beatings and protecting his siblings. Eventually, Carmine saved enough money from working his own odd jobs and took Candice and her sister out in the night and never looked back. Candice was 18 at the time.
Though they struggled to get by, Carmine loved his siblings very much and vowed to support them until they could all find their feet and be emotionally and financially stable. Candice put her plans for college on hold to stay with her family and help take care of Clementine. Unfortunately, just two years into starting over the girls saw life return to square one. Carmine’s apartment was in a bad area of LA, and he was killed while out grocery shopping one day, leaving the sisters to fend for themselves. Though heartbroken and devastated, Candice refused to give up and continued working doubly as hard. At age 22, she was helping babysit on Halloween one night when she was ambushed by the escaped SCP-106. She was taken into its pocket dimension and reported missing several days later. Her still-living, miraculously intact body was dumped in the maintenance tunnels of the site the Keter was returned to. Her recovery, along with several other traits she exhibited, were marked as anomalous and she too was contained. 5 years into her containment, she was made a proposition: help create a specialized Mobile Task Force, and if she did well, she would regain her freedom. She was 25 when she became Commander of MTF Alpha-6.
Ever since then, Candice has enjoyed helping to serve and protect in the name of the SCP Foundation. She’s proven herself a great leader and a masterful field agent.
TETough, disciplined, and dedicated to her work, Candice has spent a good collection of years serving as a field agent and MTF unit for the SCP Foundation. Her demanding schedule and strict training regiments, as well as the fact that she is under intense scrutiny for her adequate performance has made her one of the most successful and well respected members of the Foundation. She takes her work very seriously and has a very tough no-nonsense policy while on the job. Her indomitable spirit and determination means she always gets the task done. While she tries to adhere to protocol as much as possible, Candice isn’t afraid to break ranks and bend the rules to get the job done as quietly and with as few casualties as possible. She’s a very smart woman and knows how to weigh the risks with the reward while also keeping her record clean. A little extra caution and a bit of patience is a small price to pay to stay out of a cell.
When she’s not busy with work, Candice is a completely different person. Outgoing, kind, and playful, she spends a lot of time with her team. Her Mobile Task Force is a family to her. Everything she does, she does for them. Every change she makes it for their benefit. Candice acts as a big older sister guiding them all to greatness. She’s extremely supportive of them all and makes time to have one on one experiences with all of them, especially Clementine and Kayla. She’s just as tough off the job as she is on it. She’s also got a mischievous side that loves causing trouble and playing pranks on people. Fun but harmless. Candice’s optimistic personality never ceases to bring a smile to people’s faces, though love for her doesn’t extend all that far past her circles. At heart, she knows she is an SCP and may never be viewed with the same respect as other people, but she dares to hope that with her work, she can prove herself and be freed.XT

Candice has the ability to recover from any injury, no matter how severe, at an accelerated rate, though it does drain her of her energy to do so
Candice can heal the injuries of others that range from mild to moderate. The more severe the injury, the more taxing on her it is to heal.
Anything Candice paints or draws on paper proceeds to assume a physical form in the vicinity around her, be it an inanimate object or an organism.
Candice’s bodily fluids seem to have similar properties to ink and paints, though with additional biological components.
Candice is still an SCP. She remains uncontained thanks to a pardon by an O5.
