[08:24] OptoMystic (scottmerrick.oh): Methylphenidate, sold under the trade name Ritalin among others, is a stimulant medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy. It is a first line medication for ADHD. It may be taken by mouth or applied to the skin. Different formulations have varying durations of effect.

[08:25] Rini Hathaway: I had a teacher working with me who had a kid who was really hyper, and she asked the parents about patterns and they experimented. When they took him off wheat, within two weeks he was calm and normal and focused and quite a learner. But his father refused to change his diet when the boy was with dad for a weekend. So he came to school all hyper and freaked out on those Mondays.
