Emitters

The Emitters module is composed of 3 sections

Each of these sections is used to configure the emitter with the theme corresponding to the name of the section.

In Shape we will configure things related to the shape and appearance of the emitter.

In Animation we will configure things related to the emitter's animation.

In Particles we will be able to decide if we want our emitter to be a particle emitter or a Mesh emitter as it comes by default in first instance.

Types of Emitters

Emitters are the emitting source from which our explosions will start. Each emitter has its own characteristics and properties.

You can interact with all their properties interactively at any time you need, to look for different effects in different circumstances.

Up to 6 different types of emitters are currently available.

All Emitters can be switched from one emitter type to another easily. In the Shape section of the Emitters module we will find the Type option, with it we can switch between the different types of emitters available.

Creation

When we add a new emitter, its animation will start with the initial frame in the frame where our timeline is located. All emitters come with preconfigured animations, which can be altered and varied with the parameters in the Animation section.

In the image on the left you can see a sample of the different types of existing emitters.

As can be seen in the image, our emitter would begin to explode at frame 10.

Subsequently, if we decide that this is not the case, we can change it at any time in the Animation section with the "Start | Duration", respectively, the first field, the Start, is when the animation starts, and the second field, the Duration, indicates how many frames the animation will last.
