Student Podcast- Schylar Harrison and Deb Liddon

Overview: A student led podcast about the things that students are into. The audience is primarily teachers. But parents and students would enjoy the podcast too. The goal is to help teachers be gain cultural competence, which will help them to build a better connection to their students, that will lead to optimal learning.

Update: The team has identified and spoken to four 4^th grade students and their parents about participating in the podcast.

They will utilize the Anchor App for our podcast. One of the apps features is the ability for 5 people to remotely be on the same podcast. Thus, they can start the podcast whether students are virtual or face to face. They are very excited about that!

Proposed Timeline:

• January: Brainstorm and plan with students. Figure the flow of the podcast and the segments. Also, if they have their equipment, they can figure out how to work it and disperse it to students.

• February: Plan and create the first podcast (test run).

• March: Plan and release the first official podcast.
