Wheelers ePlatform

The ePlatform  is a digital library of eBooks and Audiobooks. Sign in (using your Viewbank College email address and Compass password) to borrow and read or listen to a range of titles. You can borrow 2 books at a time - they are loaned to you for 2 weeks.   If you are already signed into Microsoft Teams on your laptop, you will be automatically signed in.

You can browse the collection, or use the search box to search by author or title.

Click on a book cover to borrow it. If the book is on loan to someone else, you can Reserve it. You will receive an email when its ready.

Once you have borrowed it you can read or listen to the book. Books are issued for 2 weeks - you can return it early if you change your mind or aren't enjoying the book. 

Access on a phone or tablet 

A simple way to use the ePlatform is through the free app on your phone, tablet or device. The app is available on Apple, Google Play or Windows.

eReaders

To access books on your eReader (e.g. Kobo) you will need to:

1. Install Adobe Digital Editions on your PC or laptop and create an account. 

2. Download the ACSM file from the ePlatform - borrow the e-book, click on Reading options and select Read via Adobe

3. Open the ACSM file on your laptop or PC to view it in Adobe Digital Editions - you can now transfer the file to your eReader. Please note - this is not compatabile with a Kindle.
