A library e-resource (or database) is an online collection of resources, often selected around a specific subject. They usually include the full text of sources that are only available by subscription - so you might not find the same articles in a web search.
Sources are selected and checked by subject experts, so are good sources for authoritative information.
You can access some eResources from VBC Library which are listed to the right - you can find much more through the State Library of Victoria and there is information on this below.
If you need any help finding articles or resources, ask us at vbclibrary@viewbank.vic.edu.au.
For subcription resources, the State Library of Victoria provides access to a comprehensive selection of eResources to anyone living in Victoria. Visit the State Library of Victoria's website for more information. You will need to sign up as a member - but membership is free and simple to organise online.
