Intro to Level I FieLDWORK

In this module, students will examine the purpose of Fieldwork (FW) I, identify professionals who could serve as FW supervisors and the responsibilities of students, FW supervisors, and academic fieldwork coordinators.  Tips and ideas addressing what to wear, how to introduce yourself to and communicate with your supervisors, and to interact with clients will be discussed.

This 6-module resource is designed to equip occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant students with the tools and resilience skills to overcome any obstacle. This evidence-based resource was developed by Taylor Martin, a capstone student with the VAOTEC, and it demonstrated statistically significant changes in resiliency and coping in students who participated in an online program of instruction and peer interaction.
