ECON 320 is one of the core courses for economics major at Lawrence University. I would encourage business major to take this course as well. It expands upon ECON 100 and provides a deeper understanding of macroeconomics and a foundation for your success in many other upper-level courses. In this class, we will develop math models in order to better understand the drivers of macroeconomic growth and short-run fluctuations. Students will read carefully, take regular quizzes, tests, exams and do individual data assignments and group-work presentations.
Note that this course is an in person course, so typically there are no lecture recordings or class meetings via Zoom but you can meet and talk to me via Zoom for office hours if you can not come to my office in person. Make sure to write me an email in advance to vanessa.nguyen@lawrence.edu
