Office hours: 10:00AM - 11:00AM (Tue&Wed&Thur) via Zoom

Econ 816 (Probability & Statistics for Economists) is a graduate course offered to first-year PhD students in Economics department at the University of Kansas. Before 2018, PhD students in Economics used to take Math 727 (Probability) and Math 728 (Statistics) in the Mathematics department. From 2018, Econ 816, a combined version of Math 727 and Math 728 began to be offered in the Economics department.

You are strongly encouraged to review your knowledge of Probabilities and Statistics. Doing exercises at the end of each chapter is a good practice. You are NOT required to submit any homework.

You are always welcome to my office hours if you have questions or you want to go over some exercises with me. You can send me emails and we schedule online meetings via Zoom.
