How to get started

So you're interested in joining HW or VOK?
Getting started is easy! And the same for both ARPGS.

Starting your Journey

The first step is to obtain a founder. A founder is the 'founder' of your pride/group of cats, and where you'll start on your journey to creating a lovely little character world and story for them.

You can obtain a founder in two main ways.

Founder customs

You can find the founder form located on the ARPGS front/main pages. You will fill out this information in order to claim a founder custom.

When you post your form on the thread, an artist who is available will claim your form behind the scenes, and soon, you'll get a message with your very own founder to start with!

**IF, for whatever reason you haven't received a founder after 2 weeks since you posted the form, PLEASE message Sixbane directly. I will resolve the issue.

Once your founder custom is posted, you will need to make a thread/toyhouse page/ect for them, and post the requested form that is on their page with the link to this thread. This creates your founder's 'home'. by the arpg standards.

Please note that everyone can only have ONE founder each per arpg. And you cannot currently already own a lion or cat. This is for people who are new, and need somewhere to start!

Adopting a founder

If you aren't sure what you want, or like the look of an adopt for your founder, you can apply to that adopt in order to make them your founder!

If you enter the contest, you may put N/A for the group/pride link, and if you win that adopt, it will become your founder.

You may also be lucky and have a friend gift/give you a founder, which will work in the same way.

By adopting/receiving a founder, you give up your founder custom. HOWEVER, by doing this- you know precisely what your founder looks like, and can have special or edited founders.

Then what?

The first thing you will want to do is level to level one. Each time you level, you unlock two more slots to obtain cats/lions for your pride or group.

When just starting out, you'll want to do the founder prompt. If you obtained a founder custom, than you already did it! All you need to do is go to the Prompt's page and put in a claim for your feathers. After you purchase your feathers, you can purchase a level up through the Feather store .

After this, you're free to adopt two more cats/lions to your group, and begin building your world!

It's as simple as that! Develop your world and group as you wish, earn more feathers- buy new items, and continue on your journey to your hearts desire.
