USF Hockey

The rink-side thrill awaits

Starting 2021 season , I have been involved with the USF Men's Hockey team as their Public Address (PA) announcer and Host for the home games. Working in the announcer's box on each home game has brought me nothing but unmatched joy, breathtaking actions, and some unique opportunities such as hosting a rivalry game alongside the Tampa Bay Lightning's host Greg Wolf (and also getting a chance to wear his back-to-back Stanley cup champion ring).

Being a huge hockey fan, there could not have been a better opportunity for me to get involved with the sport in my off-time other than being the part of the action as the voice of and for the people. The amount of energy and excitement in crowd that a host can instill is quite often overlooked, until one holds the microphone in their own hands!

If you are reading this and are in / planning to be in the Tampa region during the gameday, I better see you in the stands! Go Bulls!
