Resident Assistant

Live where you work, work where you live!

Serving as the resident assistant of 2 communities, over the summer of 2021 and the academic year 2021-22, I have played a major role in developing, planning, and implementing Residential Education curriculum for meeting holistic goals of USF Residential Curriculum for their residents. USF's Department of Housing and Residential Education has earned its respect in the state and the nation for providing the best growth environment to its students , and as Resident Assistants, we are the "people-on-ground" implementing those schemes and providing accurate feedback for improvement in the curriculum.

Below mentioned are the communities I have served as a Resident Assistant for:

  • Maple A Hall - Summer 2021

Supervisor(s): Angelica Arnanda and Flor Martinez

  • Poplar Hall - Engineering Living Learning Community - Academic Year 2021-22

Supervisor(s): Lauren Levanti and Taylor Casey

Living Learning Communities: Living learning communities are residential communities strategically placed with similar major residents to foster academic growth and personal connections within the community. The LLCs usually have their own separate budgets, and organize their own programs in collaboration with the LLC partners. Over the academic year 2021-22, I got selected as the Resident Assistant for the Engineering LLC at USF. Engineering LLC collaborates with the College of Engineering, Dean's office, and multiple other wellness organizations on campus to bring the best living and learning experience for their residents.
