Daily Grade Sync

Directions for setting canvas to Grade Sync each night

Double check you have grade sync enabled in EVERY course you teach in canvas.

For each course, click on settings and then navigation. Make sure Grade Sync is visible. Don’t worry, it won’t be visible for the students. Just drag it up to the top section.

Then scroll to the bottom and click Save. If you don’t click save, it won’t work.

Now click on Grade Sync in the left sided menu.
Click on Utilities and then click the nightly sync. Now you don’t have to worry about it. Otherwise, you’ll need to manually click sync grades in the gradebook each time you want them to go to synergy.

NOTE: This must be done for each class you teach in canvas and you will need to update this when we start our new canvas courses in January.
