Aim 10
Person-Centered Approaches
Person-Centered Approaches
This aim focuses on enhancing the capacity of those who work with individuals at-risk for suicide to promote, implement, and evaluate person-centered, evidence-based and promising behavioral health prevention programs, practices, and communication strategies. The goal is to raise public awareness about mental health and substance use disorders, youth suicide prevention and wellness, and help-seeking and recovery in a way that engages everyone. Every effort is made to embed elements of this aim across all trainings and program initiatives implemented.
