The members’ General Assembly is called for Tuesday, January 27th, 2022, first call at 8:30, second call at 18.00. In accordance with security regulations dictated by the ongoing pandemic, the assembly will be held on-line.
If you have an European Commission account use the code 005b260 to join the USI Teams group (See instructions) and receive the invitation for the assembly meeting on Teams. If you don't have an European Commission account, please write us to be added as a guest to the group and get invited to the meeting.

L’Assemblea Generale dei soci avrà luogo giovedì, 27 gennaio 2022, prima convocazione alle ore 8:30, seconda convocazione alle ore 18.00. Conformemente alle norme di sicurezza dettate dalla pandemia in corso, l’assemblea si terrà online.

On the 22nd November 2021, elections for the new CLP Ispra-Seville will take place.
US-I will present a list of candidates and for this reason, we ask anyone who is interested in being a candidate to complete and send us the attached form (click here) by the 22nd October 2021.
You do not need to be a USI member in order to be on the USI list.
Due to the extreme importance of the CLP, an organisation that locally helps promote and implement actions in favour of Ispra and Seville Staff, we hope you will send us your candidature.

Dear Colleagues,
We would like to inform you that Ms. G. Ingestad and Mr. S. Quest have responded to USI's Open Letter on healthcare.
In particular, Ms. Ingestad, writing also on behalf of Mr. Quest, shares our point of view on the need to find a conclusive solution to the problem we have raised on healthcare for our colleagues under the Italian National Health Service.
HR and JRC Directors-General share furthermore our view on the need to reach a general agreement that allows our colleagues access to the National Health Service.
We would like to thank Ms. Ingestad and Mr. Quest for accepting our request to re-establish contacts with the Italian authorities and for making themselves available in relation to this critical situation that has already affected several colleagues. In such a dramatic period for the current pandemic, we are pleased to receive from our Institution this constructive response which is considerate of the health and well-being of the staff.
This positive response to USI's requests is in addition to the USI initiatives in the field of healthcare, related to the appeal to the Regional Administrative Court of Lombardy and to the support of a specific request according to Art. 24.
USI considers it essential to devote its resources to solving concrete and relevant problems affecting the professional and personal lives of all colleagues.
We will continue with conviction on this path.
We are grateful to all those who have expressed their appreciation to us.
We will keep you informed about any updates.

Cari colleghi,
Desideriamo informarvi che la Sig. a G Ingestad ed il Sig. S.Quest hanno risposto alla lettera aperta dell’ USI in materia di assistenza sanitaria.
In particolare, la Sig. Ingestad, scrivendo anche a nome del Sig. Quest, condivide il nostro punto di vista sulla necessità di individuare una soluzione definitiva alla problematica da noi sollevata sull’assistenza sanitaria per i nostri colleghi da parte del servizio sanitario italiano.
I Direttori generali HR e JRC condividono inoltre la nostra opinione in merito alla necessità di raggiungere un accordo generale che consenta ai nostri colleghi l’accesso al Servizio sanitario Nazionale.
Ringraziamo la Sig.a Ingestad ed il Sig. Quest anche per aver accolto la nostra richiesta di ristabilire i contatti con le autorità italiane e per essersi resi disponibili in relazione alle situazioni critiche che riguardano già diversi colleghi. In un periodo così drammatico per la pandemia in atto siamo lieti di ricevere dalla nostra Istituzione questa risposta costruttiva, ed attenta alla salute ed al benessere del Personale.
Questa positiva risposta alle richieste dell’USI si aggiunge alle iniziative USI, in materia di assistenza sanitaria, connesse al ricorso al Tribunale Amministrativo regionale della Lombardia ed al supporto ad una specifica richiesta ai sensi dell’Art. 24.
L’USI considera essenziale destinare le proprie risorse alla soluzione di problemi concreti e rilevanti che riguardano la vita professionale e personale di tutti i colleghi.
Proseguiremo con convinzione su questo cammino.
Siamo grati a tutti i colleghi che ci stanno manifestando il loro apprezzamento.
