Elizabeth "Elle" Peterson

Elle is a graduate from UC San Diego and a rising 2L at the University of San Diego - School of Law. She has served as a representative for the Student Bar Association, First Generation Legal Professionals, and Pride Law. She recently joined the executive board for the Name and Gender Marker Clinic and is an active member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Committee, where she is currently working to provide equitable resources for the LGBTQ+ community and other DEI measures at USD law. In addition to being in law school, Elle is a Legal Assistant for Barger and Battiest, APC. This summer, she will be working as a Summer Associate at Cozen O’Connor through the San Diego County Bar Association’s Diversity Fellowship Program.

In her free time, Elle loves camping, hiking, and attending live music events. As a former ballerina, she also enjoys taking classes with San Diego City Ballet and attending ballroom lessons in salsa, tango, and bachata.
